Picture Day (another poem)

Hey guys, I’m back with another poem for you. This one’s about self esteem and it’s based off of true experiences that I had earlier this week. I hope that this poem helps you feel better about yourself. Enjoy!

Looking around

seeing pictures

people exclaiming

I look terrible in this photo.

They cringe at their own

marveling at others’

wishing they could look more like them.

But they don’t see themselves

the way I see them

wonderful

beautiful

full of kindness and intelligence.

Why can’t they see

that they look wonderful

just the way they are…

and that I don’t care how they look

because they all have

beautiful souls

and that’s all that matters in the end.

THE END

I love each and every one of you just the way you are. Please remember that you are wonderful, and don’t let anyone let you feel otherwise. Thank you.
