Hi everyone! I’m so sorry I haven’t been following my posting schedule lately. It’s just that I’ve been really busy. I’ll try to post often enough to convince you I haven’t disappeared. *sigh* Joy is so much better at this than I am…
So anyway, I wrote this post because I need help. I have decided that I’m going to try my hand at songwriting. The problem is, I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO WRITE ABOUT. Ugh! Right now, there’s nothing I really feel strongly about, except the stress of doing everything from home. Hmmm…..there’s an idea…..Well, I’d love for you to answer my poll so that I know what to write a song about!
P.S.- I voted for Joy to do a guitar cover for Riptide. What did you guys think?

Yes! It sounds like you have some great ideas.
Try dancing to get your creative energy going then sit down with your pen and/or guitar in your favorite place and see what comes up. Trust yourself and go with it! We know it will be great and most importantly you had a good time doing it. That comes through your writing.

I think it would be interesting to hear your feelings about the isolation, positive thoughts and overall thoughts on how the virus changes your life. It might be therapeutic.

It would be cool to do a song about mental health/mental illness. I think that would be really refreshing in a time like this when everyone *cough cough* is kinda like in quarantine or whatever.

I would like it if you wrote a song taking inspiration from the Hunger Games. Mostly because the books are amazing and also because of some dark themes that I think would be amazing if you would work it into your song. Also, some themes from THG are also in Keeper of the Lost cities so yeah, I think that would be amazing. I would definitely listen to that.
